For the last several decades the Lighthouse, still a viable navigation aid along the Carolina coast, has been maintained by the Outer Banks Conservatory, a private non-profit organization. It is open to the public every day of the year except Thanksgiving and anyone up to it can climb to the top. There are 214 steps.

ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS -
Keep looking for sponsors and partial sponsors. Several persons and groups, who can’t afford a full sponsorship, would like to partially sponsor a light. We just need to find them some “friends” to join them.
Any questions, call

The Bashas’ fundraising program, Thanks a Million for Friends and Neighbors, starts on September 1, 2007 and ends March 31, 2008. You can support our non-profit club by using our Club I.D. when you purchase groceries. For each dollar spent, with a minimum of $2,500 in total sales, Bashas’ will donate 1% of the total sales to the Lighthouse Club.

How do you start shopping for our Club?

Use our 5-digit number below; take it with you to Bashas’. The cashier will punch in the number and it will print on your receipt to confirm you have signed up. You only need to do this the first time. Then every time you shop at Bashas’, a portion of your total sales will be donated to the Club.
