The IronMan Golf Tournament was the only fund raiser the lighthouse club had since incorporation as a Club, aside from individual sponsorships of the lighthouse replica's. However, this Tournament also sponsored other youth organizations as well and over the years it had not grown into the program we had hoped for. As a result, the net proceeds had been spread very thin and eventually without any proceeds going to the Lighhouse Club, so it was incumbent that the Lighthouse Club identify other income sources. We developed and distributed a new Club brochure that we hoped would be widely excepted as the more lights we put in place the higher the cost of the maintenance and upkeep. Remember if anyone needs a "Tax Credit" the Lighthouse Club is a 501 (c) 3 organization. Club Support
We had a Planned Giving dinner/seminar on May 18th, 2011. Planned Giving is a program started by the Mohave Community Foundation.

The program is to inform interested parties about the “hows” and “whys” of tax protected annuities for non-profit organizations. It promises to be an informative and enjoyable evening. The date is May 18th, 2011 at Shugrue’s Restaurant. A no -charge dinner will be provided, followed by a short presentation on how you can support the Club after you no longer need your assets. The Foundation has invited the Lighthouse Club to participate in the program and the two meetings already held have been very well received. All organizations participating in the program will have information tables so participants can hear about the different functions of each.

The above mentioned dinner is now history and may or may not come around again, so if you think you might be interested would like some information about this program with rergards to the Lighthouse Club you can call Bob Keller at 928-706-6928 and I'm sure he can provide you the information you desire.
New Planned Giving Program
The Club had an opportunity to do the perimeter boat patrol for the IJSBA Jet Ski World Finals since 2006. This event is an Annual Event and runs approx. 10 days during the first two weeks of October. Proceeds from this event provides some annual funding for our Clubs Building and Maintenance Fund.
IJSBA Perimeter Patrol
The Club has had spaghetti feeds, booth at parade and fairs selling Lighthouse Tee Shirts, Caps, etc to help defray the costs required for Lighthouse upkeep. In 2010 the Club had a successful Steak Bar-b-q with a live auction for lighthouse memorabilia at the Campbell Ranch . The Club has done Bunco Parties and plans to start doing them simi annually. We are always looking for ways to obtain the much needed funding.
